First Addition to the 2021 Homestead

I’ve been working on a few different sourdough recipes to share this month and some new herbal creations to offer with my farmstand. I’m so excited to share those!

However, something (or should I say someone) has taken up all our attention for the foreseeable future!

Our family of four grew into a family of five yesterday evening!

Welcome Alder Daniel.

Weighing in at 6 pounds even and 19 1/2 inches long, this little fella wanted to join the family so badly, he came 3 weeks early!

We were blessed to have little Alder in the safety and warmth of our own home with the guidance and care of an amazing midwife and birthing assitant!

This was our first home, first unmedicated, and first water birth! Both mommy and baby are healthy and well. Resting and recovering from this big event!

Both of his big brothers are so very excited (as are mommy and daddy!)

We know everyone will be excited to hear more about our newest little homesteader, and ask for patience and understanding as we transition into our new lives as a family of five.

Stay tuned over the next several days for our birth story!

For those who have asked, we do have a registry of a few things for baby Alder with Target. But most requested are prayers for good health, patiences, and blessings!
